Thursdays’ competition night saw a lot of new members trying, and succeeding in their first attempts at making a four image panel. We had colour and mono PDI entries in one section and colour and mono Prints in another section. The overall winner of each section winning a splendid trophy for their trophy cupboard. These trophies will be given out at our Annual Exhibition Open Evening on 27th July at the Anglican Cathedral here in Liverpool. Our Judge for the evening was the renowned Robert Millin from the equally renowned Wigan 10 Photo Club. Robert said that the standard was high and there were many pleasing images. In the end the winners were panels that told a story as well as being a nice set of coherent images. It was also William McDonough’s last night on the computer, William has been doing all the monthly competitions and some others for the last three years and was rewarded with a well deserved round of applause at the end of the evening.
