Where and when we meet

Members of SLPS meet every Thursday evening throughout the year.

From September to June

SLPS meets at CADWA (see below for directions) on the first three Thursdays of the month, from 8pm to 10pm (doors open 7.30pm)

On the other Thursday(s) in the month, the meetings are held on ZOOM. Details of how to join the zoom meeting are emailed to members in advance.

Visitors are very welcome to join any of our meetings, please get in touch with Tim Evans if you’re planning to come along.

From June to September

Our summer programme includes members evenings and photo walks. Details are published on the website.

Meetings are held in CADWA HALL, Bowland Avenue, L16 1JP

This is behind the CADWA Social Club and beside the bowling green.

There is a large car park accessed from Rocky Lane, postcode L16 1JD

Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and through the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union.

30 January 7.30pm on ZOOM – Neil Malton DPAGB “A Walk on the Wild Side” I was a keen naturalist before I came to photography as a hobby and only took it up to photograph insects mainly. In the late 70’s I joined PPS and my photographic interests diversified somewhat. I now enjoy Infra red photography, Landscape and Creative as well as Natural History. I have been to the USA and Africa in pursuit of photography.
