Wirral Festival

On July 13, 2015

The Festival aims to showcase local talent and to encourage everyone to take part. It also provides opportunities for the community to access and enjoy some examples of the best art, music and poetry in the country.

Wirral Festival of Firsts was established in Hoylake in 2011 under the leadership and creative inspiration of John Gorman to deliver an innovative, community based arts festival. It now has activities and events in West Kirby, Meols, New Brighton, Woodchurch and Birkenhead.

30 January 7.30pm on ZOOM – Neil Malton DPAGB “A Walk on the Wild Side” I was a keen naturalist before I came to photography as a hobby and only took it up to photograph insects mainly. In the late 70’s I joined PPS and my photographic interests diversified somewhat. I now enjoy Infra red photography, Landscape and Creative as well as Natural History. I have been to the USA and Africa in pursuit of photography.
