Adobe Lightroom Workshop

Lightroom 3 (1 day) Sunday June 26th

Simplify your photography from shoot to finish. Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 3 software is essential for today’s digital photography workflow. Now you can quickly import, process, manage, and showcase your images — from one shot to an entire shoot. With Lightroom 3, you spend less time in front of the computer and more time behind the lens.

Course Overview
The workshop is aimed at those with some photography knowledge and some computing experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their own computer with Lightroom installed.  A small number of windows laptops will be available for participants.

The workshop is split into 6 major sessions:
•    Introduction, Overview and Flythrough
•    Getting your Photographs into Lightroom (from your camera)
•    Organising your Photographs
•    Enhancing your Photographs
•    Getting your Photographs out of Lightroom
•    Wrap-up
It will be supplemented with 3 practical sessions where participants will put into practice immediately what they are learning using a real world scenarios of wedding photographs, portraits and wildlife photographs taken by Diane and Terry.

This course is available whether you are a MAC or Windows User

Exercises will be completed by the delegates during the day, and there will be a prize awarded at the end of the afternoon to the delegate who best ‘improves’ a set image, using only Lightroom.  Delegates will vote themselves for their preferred image.

Registration 9.30am with the formal day starting at 10 – we aim to finish by 4pm, but the course tutors will be on hand till later in the afternoon to answer any further questions that you may have.
