Mike Lawson opened the New Year session with an illustrated talk/demo of how he takes his very fine Natural History images. Looks like Mike has brought the entire contents of his home office in order to take the group through all the processes, from researching habitats and locations of birds to the finished print! Music, colouring in and swinging chicks ….. what more could our SLPS members want on a Sunday afternoon!
- Mike setting the chicks in motion – everyone else queuing up to test their skill!
- Bert trying to shoot the swinging chick!
- Looks like Irene knows what she’s doing ….. NOT!
Thank you Mike for sharing your birdwatching passion, knowledge and expertise, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative afternoon! (Photos by Irene Drummond and Bert Whittlestone) View some of Mike’s Natural History images on his Flickr site here, https://www.flickr.com/photos/michael_lawson/
