Street Photography Monthly Competition – judging by Ted Baker FRPS on Thursday 26th Feb 2015

Well our Competition Secretary, Bill, informs us that there is a large entry for this, the final monthly competition of the current 14 – 15 season.

Hardly surprising as Street Photography is a genre easily embraced by the complete beginner or more experienced amongst our membership – easy in terms of camera equipment and opportunities here in Liverpool!

Adding to the excitement of the evening’s critique and judging is the anticipation of which members will win the three coveted awards of Photographer of the Year (for colour print, mono print and digitally projected image). League tables can be viewed here, with potential winners highlighted.

In the late 70’s I joined PPS and my photographic interests diversified somewhat. I now enjoy Infra red photography, Landscape and Creative as well as Natural History. I have been to the USA and Africa in pursuit of photography.
