Liverpool is to stage its first St George’s Day Festival on Sunday, April 21.
The day long event will feature the debut appearance in the city of TV character Mike the Knight with historical entertainment provided by the Plantagenet Medieval Society who will recreate the pageantry, excitement and action of medieval combat along with courtly dancing and music.
