July 5th Summer Season begins with 3 Senior members showing work . ***Please note last minute programme change – Ian Kemp and Paul Matthews will make their presentations at a later date TBA***. s

The Summer Season gets off to a great start this week with Paddy Green, Ken Dobson and Trevor Roberts showing some of their work.

Paddy showed a great selection of slides wth immense historic interest this evening.

“Four horses of the Acopolypse”  taken at an event in 1986 around St George’s Hall and photoshopped into this most creative image.

Trevor Roberts’ Mono Prints were totally awesome and while many of those had won awards over twenty years ago, they would still be up there with the winners in today’s competitions!    One member this evening commented on Trevor’s presentation  as  having being treated to “a Master Class in Monochrome Photography”.

The Quiet Man, AKA Ken Dobson, seldom enters any work into club competitions as he says he is “not competitive”.

Tonight Ken showed fabulous “street” portraits shot on location at the OYE Festival in Sefton Park – they really captured the mood of the event and true character of his subjects!

Ken has a great eye for street fashion and has become increasingly confident in taking candid pics and also approaching people to compose brilliant photos!
