Big History Weekend April 2016

A huge thank you to all members who assisted with the Society’s display at the Big History Weekend in St George’s Hall.

The event was a great success with our stand attracting lots of interest especially the photographs provided by Mike McWade and Ted Baker depicting views of old Liverpool and its people.

The work of Alec Balmer which was on display for the first time in many years was very popular with repeated requested to purchase copies of his images.

New work on display helped to promote the Society and gave an insight into the current standard being achieved by Members.

So once again thank you all for your assistance in providing resources and for staffing our stand over the weekend.

Good attendance and a great opportunity to network with other community groups too. Our stand was one of the busiest!
